      DELIVERY OF PERSONNEL AND CARGO

Delivery of personnel and cargo to the Drifting Station is made by airplanes and helicopters from Norway, Russia of Canada airports.

Drifting Station is equipped with an ice airport. Flexible flight schedule enables timely delivery of cargo, regardless of weather conditions (e.g., if the weather in the airport of Isl. Shpitzbergen does not permit landing, the airplane can land in Isl. Nagurskaya).

Cargo drop off with discardable parachutes can be arranged to any area of the ice drifting station, or to the experiment site. Full safety of cargo has been demonstrated in 96% of the cases.
