      LIVING QUARTERS FOR ARCTIC EXPEDITION


    • Living quarters for arctic expedition consists of a carcass construction with two layers of modern weather resistant material, which can withstand low temperatures and strong wind.
    • The tent is placed on a special warm floor surface which protects inhabitants from cold and ice.
    • The tent has large double pane windows. During the polar day when the sun does not set, special curtains can be pulled down to darken the room for the night.
    • The tent can house up to 10 persons, in accordance to expedition standards.
    • The tent is heated with warm air, which is fanned in throughout the day.
    • The temperature in the living quarters is maintained at 16-18 degrees centigrade, which makes a stay there comfortable.
    • The technology used for sowing the tent completely prevents from forming of any chinks, which could let in the arctic wind.
    • The tent includes collapsible beds on thick tarpaulin base, which are comfortable both for laying and for sitting.
    • The living quarters module includes two corridors. The first one is used for hanging outside clothing, and the second includes a toilet to be used at nighttime.
    • The height of the living module allows a person to freely stand there in full height.
