During the last 4 years (since 2002) we have successfully organized 3 temporary drifting stations close to the North Pole. Between our guests there were State Duma deputies, famous journalists, extreme tourists and the people from all the world. We have launched the model of the plane at the first time on the Pole, launched a balloon, have carried out a record running on a distance of 40 km, made air photography. Our visitors were able to ride the dogsledge and snowmobile, they immersed under the water, made a numerous quantity of the parachute jumps and etc. Everyone received a special Sertificate signed by famous explorer Artur Chilingarov.

Barneo camp will count several changes this year: there will be 2 cabin-companies of 72 sq.m. each (one for tourists and one for thechnical staff), 12 heated living modules (30 sq.m.) of new type.

There will be performed 4 cargo airdrops using IL-76 and An-12 airplanes, 4 cargo and 9 passenger flights of An-74 and a number of charters involved in particular programs in Barneo. Besides the traditional programs (ski the Last Degree, parachutist, express and 3-day tourist) a new program - 3-day skier will be introduced.

In April, 2006 Expedition Centre “Pole” will organize the Barneo ice platform and provide with the technical support exclusively its customer – "Polar Expeditions" that will be responsible for all tourist’s expeditions.

If you would like to participate in the expeditions to the North Pole, to learn more details or to receive the flight schedule for April 2006, please contact "Polar Expeditions" at info@polar-expeditions.co.uk .
